Sebastian Müller is a German composer and sound artist renowned for his work blending acoustic instruments with electronic processing and field recordings. Initially trained classically in piano and composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Müller’s practice quickly diverged toward experimental music and sound installation. He gained prominence through releases on labels like Denovali Records, beginning with his 2011 debut album *Collapse*.

His compositions often explore themes of memory, space, and the interplay between natural and artificial soundscapes. Müller frequently incorporates prepared piano techniques, alongside manipulated samples and granular synthesis, creating richly textured and emotionally resonant pieces. He's collaborated extensively with visual artists, producing scores for film, theatre, and contemporary dance.

Notable achievements include commissions from institutions like the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and performances at festivals including Unsound (Krakow) and Moogfest (Durham).
