Puerto Candelaria is a Colombian musical group formed in 1998 in Bogotá, known for fusing traditional Colombian vallenato with elements of rock, ska, jazz, and even classical music. Initially a duo comprised of Catalina García (vocals, percussion) and Javier Ocampo (accordion, compositions), they expanded to include other musicians over time.

Their breakthrough came with the album *Yo No Soy De Aquí Ni De Allá* (2003), featuring the hit single "Clandestino," which garnered significant radio play and critical acclaim across Latin America. Subsequent albums like *Canciones Para Robots y Desesperados* (2006) and *Vida Miserable* (2011) continued this innovative blend, earning them nominations for Latin Grammy Awards.

Puerto Candelaria’s style is characterized by García’s distinctive vocals, Ocampo's virtuosic accordion playing, and lyrical themes often exploring social commentary and everyday life in Colombia. They have toured extensively throughout the Americas and Europe, building a dedicated fanbase.
