Óskar Ly (born Óskar Lárusson, 1986) is an Icelandic multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known for his atmospheric and emotionally resonant electronic music. Initially gaining recognition as a founding member of the post-rock band Múm in 1997, where he contributed heavily to their early sound with distinctive melodic elements and sound design, Ly departed in 2002 to pursue solo work.

His solo career, under the moniker Óskar Ly, blends ambient textures, glitchy electronica, and neo-classical influences. He releases primarily on Kitchen Label (home to artists like Ryuichi Sakamoto and Jóhann Jóhannsson), demonstrating a connection to established experimental composers. Albums like *Hilma* (2013) and *Landfall* (2017) have garnered critical acclaim for their evocative soundscapes and delicate arrangements.

Ly frequently scores for film and television, notably contributing to the soundtrack of the HBO series *Succession* alongside Nicholas Britell. He's also collaborated with artists such as Hildur Guðnadóttir.
