Namigroove (born Nami Kim, December 27, 1986) is a South Korean electronic music producer and DJ renowned for her vibrant and melodic take on house and techno. Initially gaining recognition within Seoul’s underground club scene in the early 2010s, she quickly became a fixture, known for energetic sets blending classic house foundations with contemporary sounds.
Her breakthrough came with releases on labels like Shall Not Fade and He.She.They, garnering international attention. Namigroove’s style is characterized by warm basslines, soulful vocal samples, and a distinct focus on creating uplifting atmospheres – often described as “feel-good house.” She frequently incorporates elements of jazz and funk into her productions.
Notable accomplishments include Boiler Room debuts in both Seoul and Berlin (2019 & 2023 respectively), performances at Dekmantel Selectors (2022), and consistently charting tracks on Beatport. Her EP "Astral" (Shall Not Fade, 2021) received widespread critical acclaim.
