Mystery Jets are a British indie rock band formed in 1999, originating in London and later solidifying their base in Somerset. Comprising brothers Blaine and Henry Harrison (vocals/guitar & bass respectively), alongside William Rees and Kapil Moore, the band rose to prominence in the mid-2000s as part of the London-based nu-rave scene.

Their sound is characterized by melodic songwriting, intricate arrangements incorporating elements of baroque pop, psychedelia, and new wave. Early work, like their debut album *Making Dens* (2006), showcased a youthful energy and quirky lyrical style. Subsequent albums – *Twenty One* (2008), *Serotonin* (2010), *Radlands* (2012) and *Curve of the Earth* (2016) – demonstrate a consistent evolution, exploring themes of societal anxieties and personal introspection with increasingly sophisticated instrumentation.

Mystery Jets have garnered critical acclaim for their live performances and consistently charted within the UK Albums Chart. They’ve supported artists like The Strokes and Bloc Party, and have been festival mainstays including Glastonbury and Latitude.
