Matthew Quinn (born February 12, 1967) is an American musician best known as the frontman and principal songwriter for the power pop band Jellyfish. Emerging from San Francisco in the late 1980s, Jellyfish quickly distinguished itself with meticulously crafted arrangements, complex vocal harmonies, and a distinct blend of Beatlesque melodies and sophisticated production reminiscent of Brian Wilson.

Quinn’s songwriting consistently showcased a penchant for lush instrumentation – incorporating strings, horns, and layered keyboards – alongside catchy hooks. Following Jellyfish’s disbandment in 1994 after two critically acclaimed albums (*Jellyfish* in 1990 and *Spilt Milk* in 1993), Quinn pursued a career as a highly sought-after record producer and songwriter.

He's worked extensively with artists like Tiffany, Paula Abdul, and Britney Spears, contributing significantly to their commercial success. Notably, he co-wrote and produced several tracks on Britney Spears’ debut album *…Baby One More Time*.
