Liraz

Liraz is an Israeli singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. She has been creating music since she was a child, and is known for her unique blend of Middle Eastern and Western musical influences. Her sound incorporates elements of rock, funk, jazz, folk, and traditional Persian music.

Liraz's career began to take off in 2014 when she released her debut album, Zan (“Women”). The album was well-received by critics and earned her a nomination for Best Album at the Israeli Music Awards. Since then she has released two more albums – Zanbezan (2017) and Naz (2019). Both albums have received critical acclaim from publications such as Pitchfork, NPR Music, BBC Radio 6 Music, Rolling Stone Magazine, and many more.

In addition to releasing music as a solo artist, Liraz has also collaborated with artists such as Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and alternative rock band The National.
