Experience Popsy
Popsy, the moniker of Portuguese-British artist Louisa Rose Pocock, emerged as a prominent figure in the hyperpop and digicore scenes following years as a session musician and songwriter for others. Initially gaining traction on TikTok in 2021 with tracks like “Plastic” and “Burn It,” Popsy quickly cultivated a dedicated online following drawn to her intensely personal and emotionally raw lyricism.
Her sound is characterized by heavily processed vocals, glitchy electronic production, and genre-bending influences ranging from pop-punk and drum and bass to happy hardcore. Popsy’s debut EP, *Motorcycle* (2022), expanded on this foundation, exploring themes of trauma, identity, and online connection.
