Kioomars Musayyebi (کیومرث مُسایبی) is an Iranian-born, Sweden-based musician, composer, and vocalist renowned for his innovative fusion of Persian classical music with electronic and ambient soundscapes. Beginning his musical journey with traditional *santur* training under master Mohammad-Reza Dehnavi, Musayyebi expanded his skillset to include Western composition techniques and digital production.

He gained prominence as a member of the critically acclaimed Iranian band, Niyaz, contributing significantly to their unique "neuro-acoustic" style blending Persian poetry, Sufi mysticism, and electronica. Following Niyaz’s hiatus, Musayyebi launched a successful solo career marked by albums like *Ephemeral,* *The Room Within,* and *Plasmatic,* each exploring themes of spirituality, memory, and the human condition.

His work frequently incorporates field recordings and experimental sound design alongside the santur's distinctive timbre. Musayyebi's compositions have been featured in film soundtracks (including *Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time*) and performances globally, establishing him as a pivotal figure in contemporary world music and a bridge between Eastern and Western musical traditions.
