Kelvin Davies is a British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, gaining prominence initially as the frontman of 1990s Britpop band, Gene. Formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Gene released three critically acclaimed studio albums – *Olympian* (1995), *Painted Sky* (1997), and *Libertine* (2001) – achieving several Top 20 UK singles including “Olympian” and “Someday.”

Following Gene’s hiatus, Davies embarked on a solo career marked by a shift towards a more introspective and atmospheric sound. He's released several well-received solo albums including *Life After Life* (2014) and *Ghosts* (2018), showcasing his evolving songwriting and vocal style.
