Kaidi Akinnibi is a Nigerian-American vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist rapidly gaining recognition for her genre-bending sound. Originally performing under the moniker “KAI,” she now operates solely as Kaidi. Her musical journey began classically, trained in violin and piano before transitioning to electronic music production and vocal experimentation.

Kaidi’s style blends elements of alternative R&B, electronica, jazz improvisation, and Afrofuturist aesthetics. She’s known for layered vocal harmonies, atmospheric soundscapes, and introspective lyricism exploring themes of identity, displacement, and self-discovery.
