Hailing from the Wolastoq Nation in New Brunswick, Dutcher’s work centers on revitalizing his ancestral language and culture through music. His debut album, *Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa* (2018), is a groundbreaking project that reimagines archival recordings of his ancestors’ songs, blending them with lush orchestral arrangements and modern production techniques.
