Beyond drumming, Aug is a proficient guitarist, bassist, pianist, and vocalist. Following Scott Hutchison’s passing, he formed the band Arms & Hearts with former Frightened Rabbit bassist Andy Monaghan, releasing their debut album *Summer Showers* in 2020.
Aug’s production work includes projects with artists like Teenage Fanclub and Camera Obscura. His style blends emotionally resonant songwriting with intricate arrangements; often described as melancholic yet hopeful. He currently resides in Glasgow, Scotland and continues to write, record, and tour extensively.
