Javier Limón is a highly respected Spanish percussionist, composer, and producer renowned for his innovative fusion of flamenco, jazz, and Latin rhythms. Born in Madrid in 1973, Limón initially gained prominence as a member of the groundbreaking flamenco group, New Flamenco Orchestra, alongside figures like Chicuelo and Javier Moreno Torres. He later became a pivotal collaborator with Enrique Morente, contributing significantly to Morente’s critically acclaimed album *Omega* (1996), a landmark recording that blended flamenco with rock and electronic music.

Limon’s solo career began in the early 2000s, marked by albums like *Mutaciones* (2001) and *Song for My Father* (2006), showcasing his virtuosity and compositional skills. He's consistently worked across genres, collaborating with artists such as Lou Reed, Caetano Veloso, and Mariza. A prolific soundtrack composer, he received a Goya Award for Best Original Song for “No Te Puedo Dar Nada” from the film *Pan’s Labyrinth* (2006).
