Hockey Dad is an Australian indie rock duo hailing from Windang, New South Wales. Formed in 2013, the band consists of childhood friends Zach Stephenson (vocals and guitar) and Billy Fleming (drums). Since their inception, Hockey Dad has gained significant recognition for their energetic live performances and infectious surf-rock sound.

Drawing influences from bands like Wavves and Best Coast, Hockey Dad's music is characterized by catchy hooks, upbeat rhythms, and sun-soaked guitar melodies. Their songs often explore themes of youth, love, and the carefree nature of coastal living. With a distinctive blend of garage rock and surf pop, they have managed to carve out a unique sonic niche that resonates with fans both in Australia and internationally.

Hockey Dad's rise to prominence began with the release of their debut EP "Dreamin'" in 2014, which quickly caught the attention of music critics. Their first full-length album, "Boronia," followed in 2016, receiving widespread acclaim for its infectious tracks such as "Can't Have Them" and "So Tired." The album propelled them onto national tours and secured them supporting slots for renowned acts like Dune Rats and The Jezabels.

In 2018, Hockey Dad released their highly anticipated sophomore album, "Blend Inn," which further solidified their reputation as one of Australia's most exciting rock acts.
