Experience Graham Coxon
Graham Coxon is an English musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer, best known as the guitarist, vocalist and primary songwriter for the influential Britpop band Blur. Born in 1968, Coxon joined Blur in 1988, contributing significantly to their defining sound throughout the 1990s with albums like *Parklife* (1994) and *The Great Escape* (1995).
Alongside his work with Blur, Coxon has maintained a prolific solo career since 1998, releasing critically acclaimed albums such as *The Sky Is Too High* (1998) and *Happiness in Small Doses* (2006). His solo output frequently explores lo-fi aesthetics, experimental guitar work, and deeply personal lyrical themes.
Coxon’s guitar style is characterized by its distinctive use of tremolo, unconventional tunings, and textural layering. He’s also a respected painter exhibiting his artwork regularly. He temporarily left Blur during the recording of *13* (1999) due to struggles with alcohol addiction but rejoined permanently in 2002.
