Glas (born William Glass, October 14, 1985) is an American electronic music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Initially gaining recognition for his self-released remixes and original tracks on SoundCloud in the early 2010s, he quickly built a following through a distinctive blend of future bass, trap, and atmospheric electronica.
His breakthrough came with collaborations on Flume’s critically acclaimed 2016 album *Skin*, co-writing and performing on the tracks “Say It” (featuring Tove Lo) and “Sleepless.” This propelled him into wider industry visibility. Glas continued to work with Flume on subsequent projects, including contributing to *Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape)* and *Palaces*.
Beyond his work with Flume, Glas has produced for artists like Remi Wolf ("Volcanic"), Elohim, and Yuna. He’s known for intricate sound design, emotive melodies, and a focus on textural layering. His solo releases – including EPs like *Daylight* – showcase his ability to create immersive sonic landscapes.
