Forró De Balkão is a prominent Brazilian forró band originating from Campina Grande, Paraíba, formed in 2008. Initially a project of multi-instrumentalist e singer, Eduardo Costa, alongside Flavinho do Acordeon, the group quickly gained recognition for revitalizing *forró pé de serra* – traditional northeastern Brazilian forró – with a modern energy.

Their sound blends classic accordion-driven rhythms with influences from xote and baião, incorporating contemporary arrangements without sacrificing the genre’s core authenticity. Forró De Balkão distinguishes itself through tight vocal harmonies and energetic live performances.

The band achieved significant national breakthrough with albums like "Forró de Balkão" (2011) and “Sem Limite” (2014), featuring hits such as "Amo Noite e Dia” and “Fiquei Sabendo”. They have collaborated with artists like Flávio José and have consistently toured extensively throughout Brazil, performing at major forró festivals including São João celebrations.
