Corina Piatti is a highly regarded Swiss-Italian cellist, celebrated for her deeply expressive interpretations and technical mastery. Born in 1973, she began cello studies at age five and quickly distinguished herself, winning the International Cello Competition “Pablo Casals” in 1992 – a remarkably young age for such an achievement.

Piatti’s career encompasses both solo performances with leading orchestras worldwide, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, and Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, and a dedicated chamber music presence. She frequently collaborates with renowned musicians like Martha Argerich and Steven Isserlis.
