Chris Wabich is a highly sought-after, internationally performing percussionist and drummer known for his versatility across genres. Originally trained in classical percussion, Wabich transitioned into a remarkably diverse career encompassing jazz, world music, film scoring, and collaborations with prominent artists. He’s a founding member of the innovative percussion ensemble, The Wabich Family Percussion Group, showcasing intricate rhythmic compositions.

Wabich is particularly recognized for his work with Philip Glass, serving as a core member of the Philip Glass Ensemble for over two decades and contributing to numerous recordings and performances globally – including landmark projects like *Einstein on the Beach* and *Akhnaten*. Beyond Glass, he’s collaborated with artists like Suzanne Vega, Steve Reich, and Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo).
