Carlos Peña (born April 13, 1980) is a multi-faceted American musician, songwriter, and producer best known as a member of the Latin pop group RBD alongside Anahí, Dulce María, Alfonso Herrera, Christopher von Uckermann, and Maite Perroni. Rising to prominence through the telenovela *Rebelde* (2004-2006) and its accompanying music releases, RBD achieved massive international success, selling over 20 million albums worldwide.
Peña served as a primary composer for RBD, contributing significantly to their signature sound – a blend of pop, dance-pop, and Latin rhythms. Post-RBD, he focused on songwriting and production for other artists including artists like Belinda and K'NEX. He also launched a solo career with his project "CP," releasing the album *Te Amo* in 2010 which showcased a more mature R&B influenced style.
In 2020, Peña reunited with fellow RBD members for a highly successful reunion tour ("Soy Rebelde Tour") demonstrating continued fan demand. Beyond music, he has ventured into acting and television hosting.
