Experience Architects
Architects are a British metalcore band formed in Brighton, East Sussex, in 2004. Initially emerging within the UK underground scene, they’ve become a globally recognized force in modern metal. The band’s early work (e.g., *Ruin*, *The Here and Now*) showcased a blend of melodic death metal and hardcore punk influences.
Following the tragic death of guitarist Tom Searle in 2016, Architects persevered, evolving their sound towards a more atmospheric and progressive style, exemplified by albums like *All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us* and *Holy Hell*. Their later releases, including *For Those That Wish to Exist* and *the classic symptoms of a broken spirit*, explore themes of dystopia, environmental concerns, and societal anxieties with increased complexity.
Architects have received two Grammy Award nominations for Best Metal Performance ("Animals" in 2018 & "Black Lungs" in 2023), solidifying their international acclaim. They've consistently headlined major metal festivals worldwide and garnered numerous Kerrang! Awards.
