Andrés Barrios (born August 12, 1987) is a Colombian-American pianist, composer, and producer renowned for his innovative fusion of classical training with electronic music elements. Originally classically trained at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Bogotá, Colombia, Barrios relocated to the United States to further his studies at the Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2010.
He gained prominence as one half of the electronic duo Midnight City, achieving significant success with tracks like "Jason Bourne" which garnered millions of streams. Following Midnight City’s disbandment in 2016, Barrios launched a successful solo career focusing on instrumental piano compositions often incorporating ambient textures and cinematic soundscapes.
