Experience The Dome
Brighton Dome is a Royal Pavilion & Museums venue comprising the Concert Hall, Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, located in the heart of Brighton, UK. Originally built as a stable block for the Royal Pavilion between 1805-1808 by William Porden, it was converted into a concert hall in 1873. The iconic Concert Hall boasts a unique, unsupported timber dome – one of the largest of its kind globally – providing exceptional acoustics.
Throughout its history, Brighton Dome has hosted a diverse range of performances, from political rallies (including suffragette speeches by Emmeline Pankhurst) to classical concerts and contemporary music. It's particularly renowned for hosting performances during the annual Brighton Festival, the largest multi-arts festival in England.
The Dome regularly features rock, indie, electronic, jazz, and world music acts alongside theatre and dance. Its Corn Exchange offers a larger standing capacity space for bigger concerts and events. Unlike many venues, its historical significance and architectural grandeur create a uniquely atmospheric experience. The Dome’s commitment to accessibility and diverse programming solidifies its position as a cornerstone of Brighton’s cultural landscape.
