The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), located in downtown Nashville, is a cornerstone of the city’s cultural landscape. Originally opening in 1980 as the James K. Polk Theater (a renovation of the existing 1927 movie palace), it expanded significantly with the addition of Jackson Hall in 1996 and the Andrew Jackson Hall in 2006.
