Tao Beach, located within The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, debuted in 2005 as a pioneering dayclub concept. Inspired by Southeast Asian design, its architecture blends traditional aesthetics – think sculpted stone dragons and lush landscaping – with modern Las Vegas extravagance. Initially conceived as an extension of the Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub, it quickly became a destination in its own right.
Tao Beach is renowned for hosting internationally acclaimed DJs spinning primarily electronic dance music (EDM), hip-hop, and open-format sets. It’s hosted performances by artists like Tiësto, David Guetta, and Lil Jon. Unique features include multiple bars, private cabanas with dedicated servers, and a 180-degree view of the Strip.
Unlike many Vegas pools, Tao Beach intentionally cultivates a more exclusive atmosphere through selective admission and higher table minimums. It played a significant role in popularizing the dayclub scene in Las Vegas, setting a precedent for venues that combine poolside relaxation with high-energy music and upscale service. The venue underwent substantial renovations in 2023 further enhancing its luxury appeal.
