Tacoma Central, located in the heart of downtown Tacoma, Washington, originally opened in 1916 as a Moose Temple, a fraternal organization hall. The building’s architecture exemplifies Beaux-Arts classicism, featuring a grand facade and ornate interior detailing still visible today. Converted into a music venue in recent years, it quickly became a key player in the Pacific Northwest music scene.

Unlike many venues focusing on one genre, Tacoma Central hosts a diverse range of performances including indie rock, alternative, hip-hop, electronic music, and national touring acts alongside local artists. Its unique layout – retaining much of the original temple’s character – offers both a spacious main floor with excellent sightlines and an intimate balcony area.
