St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church, located at 263 West 86th Street in New York City, was formed in 1956 through the merger of two earlier congregations: St. Paul Methodist Church (founded 1867) and St. Andrew United Methodist Church (founded 1872). The current Gothic Revival building, constructed primarily between 1907 and 1909 for St. Andrew, was designed by architects Allan & Barton. Its distinctive features include a large rose window and a prominent corner tower.

The church has become recognized for its exceptional acoustics and is frequently utilized as a performance venue for choral and instrumental music. The space regularly hosts concerts by groups such as the New York Choral Society and the Oratorio Society of New York. It has also been the site of recordings by various ensembles due to its acoustic properties.

Beyond musical performances, St. Paul & St. Andrew offers community programs and serves as an active center for worship and social outreach on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The sanctuary's pipe organ, originally built by Austin Organs, Inc., has undergone restorations and remains a significant feature of the building’s musical capabilities.
