Registan Square in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, isn’t a music *venue* in the traditional sense, but a breathtaking historical complex frequently used for large-scale cultural performances including musical events. Constructed between the 15th and 17th centuries, it comprises three magnificent madrasahs: Ulugh Beg Madrasah (1417-1420), Sher-Dor Madrasah (1619-1636), and Tilya-Kori Madrasah (1646-1660).
