Raised Grain Brewing Co., located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, began as a passion project in 2014 by brothers Justin and Ryan Knopp, evolving from a homebrewing hobby into a full-scale production brewery and taproom. Housed within a beautifully renovated 1890s historic creamery building – originally the Schmidt & Son Creamery – the venue consciously preserves its industrial heritage with exposed brick, high ceilings, and original architectural details.

Beyond craft beer, Raised Grain has become a significant fixture in the local music scene, regularly hosting live performances spanning genres like Americana, blues, folk, rock, and bluegrass. They frequently feature both regional and nationally touring acts. Unlike many breweries offering music as an afterthought, Raised Grain intentionally designed its space with acoustics in mind and boasts a dedicated stage area.

The brewery also hosts events like record shows (Vinyl Night) and themed parties alongside their core brewing operations. Their commitment to community extends to collaborations with local artists and organizations.
