Experience Musical Bridges Around The World

Musical Bridges Around the World, located in San Antonio, Texas, is a unique concert hall housed within a beautifully restored 1875 Victorian home. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Glenda Dickerson, the organization and venue were born from a desire to foster intercultural understanding through music. The building itself, originally the Kreisle residence, underwent extensive renovation to create an intimate, acoustically-refined performance space seating approximately 80-100 people.

Unlike traditional concert halls, Musical Bridges focuses on presenting a diverse range of global musical traditions – from classical Indian ragas and flamenco to Argentinian tango and Celtic folk music – often featuring collaborations between artists from different cultures. It’s known for its up-close and personal concert experiences and artist residencies.

The venue actively promotes cultural exchange through pre-concert talks and educational outreach programs. It has hosted internationally acclaimed musicians and ensembles, becoming a cornerstone of San Antonio’s vibrant arts community and a nationally recognized presenter of world music. Its intimate setting and dedication to cross-cultural artistry distinguish it from larger performance spaces in the city.
