Jazzland in Silkeborg, Denmark, is a renowned music venue with a rich history dating back to 1964, originally established as a hub for the burgeoning Danish jazz scene. Housed within the historic Silkeborg Papirfabrik (paper mill) complex – specifically the former machine hall – its industrial architecture provides a unique and atmospheric setting for performances.

Initially a strictly jazz club, Jazzland has broadened its scope over the decades to encompass blues, rock, world music, and singer-songwriter acts while maintaining a strong dedication to jazz. It’s hosted numerous internationally acclaimed artists including acts like Cæcilie Norby and Ivan Pedersen, becoming integral to the Danish music landscape.
