Depot Park in Sanford, Florida, is a vibrant outdoor venue built on the site of the former Sanford Southern Railway Depot (established 1887). While the original depot was demolished, the park thoughtfully incorporates elements referencing its history, including brick pathways echoing rail lines and a design aesthetic reminiscent of early 20th-century train stations. Opened in 2018, it quickly became a central hub for community events and live music.

Distinguished by its expansive green space and picturesque waterfront location along Lake Monroe, Depot Park hosts a diverse range of musical genres – frequently featuring blues, rock, country, and popular contemporary acts. It’s unique amongst Central Florida venues due to its free admission policy for most events and its focus on family-friendly programming alongside larger concerts.

The park boasts a covered performance pavilion with professional sound and lighting systems, food truck areas, interactive splash pad features for children, and ample seating.
