Chłodna 20 Backyard is a unique open-air venue located in Warsaw’s Wola district, operating within the historic grounds of a former industrial complex. Originally part of the K. Rudzki i S-ka metal factory established in the late 19th century, the space retains a raw, post-industrial aesthetic with exposed brick walls and original factory elements integrated into its design.

Since opening as a cultural space in 2017, Chłodna 20 Backyard has become a significant hub for alternative and independent music, hosting concerts spanning genres like electronic, experimental, hip-hop, jazz, and world music. It’s known for showcasing both established international artists and emerging Polish talent. The venue frequently hosts events during key festivals like Open’er Festival’s spin-offs and Warsaw’s cultural seasons.

Unlike traditional concert halls, Chłodna 20 Backyard offers an intimate, outdoor atmosphere – weather permitting – with a capacity around 500 people. It features a covered stage area and a bar housed within repurposed factory structures. Its location contributes to Warsaw's revitalized post-industrial areas and supports the city's vibrant contemporary arts scene.
