Experience Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), located in South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, is a leading venue for conventions, exhibitions and entertainment. Opened in 1988 with expansions in 2004 and 2011, the BCEC was pivotal in transforming South Bank Parklands from a derelict industrial area into a vibrant cultural precinct. Designed by architects Bligh Voller Nield, its distinctive glass facade and riverside location are hallmarks of its modern architectural style.

The BCEC’s two main entertainment venues – the Great Hall (capacity ~5,000) and Concert Hall (~3,500) – regularly host diverse musical acts spanning pop, rock, electronic dance music (EDM), classical and contemporary artists. Notably, it has hosted performances by artists like Elton John, P!nk and major touring musicals.

Unlike many arenas, BCEC offers fully integrated event management services including catering and AV production *in-house*, streamlining event delivery. Its proximity to hotels and public transport enhances accessibility.
