The venue for the performance, MOTH Club, is located in Hackney, London. Originally established in 1967 as a social club for the Transport and General Workers' Union, it became known for hosting diverse musical acts throughout the 1970s and 80s, particularly within the post-punk and new wave scenes. The club’s interior retains much of its original 1960s décor, including a distinctive sprung dance floor and ornate ceiling. In recent years, MOTH Club has become a popular independent venue supporting emerging artists alongside established names across various genres; it’s known for its intimate atmosphere and dedicated local following.
