Yury Revich, a Russian-Dutch violinist and composer, will perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on June 11, 2027. Revich’s musical style is characterized by a fusion of classical traditions with elements of jazz, improvisation, and electronic music. He frequently incorporates looping techniques and extended techniques on the violin, creating layered soundscapes and a distinctive contemporary voice. His compositions often explore themes of cultural identity and personal experience.

The Concertgebouw, opened in 1886, is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and is consistently ranked among the world’s leading concert halls. Designed by Pieter Cuypers, the building’s architecture reflects historical eclecticism, blending neo-Renaissance and Gothic Revival styles. Its rectangular shape – notably not a traditional horseshoe design – contributes significantly to its acclaimed sound quality; the room's dimensions and materials were carefully calculated to enhance resonance and clarity.
