Pianist Yuja Wang is scheduled to perform at The Argyros in Ketchum, Idaho on July 25, 2026. Wang is internationally recognized for her virtuosic technique, dynamic stage presence, and interpretations spanning a broad repertoire. Her performances are often noted for their power, precision, and emotional depth, encompassing works from classical masters like Rachmaninoff and Liszt alongside contemporary composers. She frequently commissions new pieces and is known for embracing challenging and technically demanding compositions.

The Argyros, which opened in November 2023, serves as a performing arts center for the Wood River Valley. It was created through a substantial donation from Harry and Linda Argyros and represents a significant investment in the cultural landscape of the region. The venue replaced the former Ketchum Performing Arts Center and aims to provide a diverse range of programming including music, dance, theater, and film. The building itself features a 500-seat main hall designed with acoustics as a primary consideration; it also includes smaller spaces for more intimate events and educational workshops. Prior to its construction, Ketchum lacked a dedicated venue of this scale capable of hosting nationally and internationally touring artists.
