Yann Tiersen is a French composer and accordionist recognised for his distinctive blend of contemporary classical, folk, and electronic music. He gained international prominence following the success of the soundtrack to the 2001 film *Amélie*, though his discography extends far beyond this single work encompassing numerous solo albums and collaborative projects.

Totnes Civic Hall, situated in the historic town of Totnes, Devon, has served as a central community hub since its construction in 1966.
