Wurk is scheduled to perform at The Miramar Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 23, 2026. Wurk’s musical style blends elements of funk, soul, and electronic music, often characterized by intricate basslines, layered instrumentation, and improvisational jams. The project initially gained recognition through independent online releases and has since cultivated a dedicated following for its energetic live performances and genre-bending sound.

The Miramar Theatre originally opened in 1926 as a movie palace designed by architects Eschweiler & Van Veen. Throughout its history, it operated primarily as a cinema showcasing both mainstream and independent films. By the late 20th century, the theatre faced periods of decline and closure before being renovated and reopened in 2018 as a live music venue and event space.

The restored Miramar Theatre maintains many of its original architectural details, including ornate plasterwork and a classic proscenium arch stage. It currently functions as a standing-room general admission venue with a capacity of approximately 800 people, hosting a variety of national and regional touring acts across diverse genres. It is located in the East Side neighborhood of Milwaukee.
