WITCH, a Zambian rock band originally active in the 1970s and reformed in the 2010s, will be performing at Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery in Santa Fe, New Mexico on August 16, 2026. Their music is often described as “Zamrock,” a unique blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and traditional Zambian influences. The band gained renewed international recognition following the rediscovery and re-release of their 1970s recordings by Now-Again Records. WITCH’s sound features driving rhythms, prominent guitar work, and vocals often sung in English and Bemba.

Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery is a Santa Fe establishment known for its craft beers and distilled spirits produced on-site. Located in the Railyard Arts District, it functions as both a production facility and a performance venue. The space frequently hosts live music events showcasing a variety of genres including blues, roots, and rock. It's characterized by an industrial-chic aesthetic with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The brewery emphasizes locally sourced ingredients where possible in their brewing process.
