Widespread Panic will perform at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California on July 24, 2026. The band is known for its blend of Southern rock, blues, funk, and improvisational jamming. Formed in Athens, Georgia in 1986, Widespread Panic has cultivated a dedicated following through extensive touring and a catalog spanning multiple studio and live albums. Their performances are characterized by lengthy sets and dynamic interplay between band members.

The Orpheum Theatre originally opened in February 1926 as a lavish movie palace designed by George Ullrich. Constructed during the height of the Art Deco era, it was initially operated by Cecil B. DeMille’s film company, Famous Players-Lasky. The theatre hosted numerous premieres and vaudeville acts throughout the mid-20th century before falling into disrepair.

Following a significant restoration completed in 2010, the Orpheum Theatre was revitalized as a live performance venue. It now accommodates approximately 2,700 guests and hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, Broadway shows, comedy performances and film screenings.
