Experience Westwind Brass live on July 2nd

Westwind Brass is a renowned American brass quintet celebrated for its diverse repertoire spanning Renaissance, Baroque, and contemporary compositions, alongside original arrangements of jazz and popular music. The ensemble is known for virtuosic playing and engaging stage presence, frequently commissioning new works to expand the brass quintet literature. They have a long-standing history of performing in both traditional concert halls and unconventional spaces.

The Stuart Collection is a unique outdoor sculpture park located on the campus of the University of California San Diego. Established in 1981 through a gift from James Stuart, the collection features site-specific sculptures created by internationally recognized artists. Unlike a traditional museum, the artworks are integrated into the landscape and are accessible to the public year-round. The collection currently includes over 70 pieces, responding to the architectural and natural environment of the campus. Artists represented include Niki de Saint Phalle, Alexander Calder, and Do Ho Suh. Performances within the Stuart Collection utilize the sculptures as backdrop and contribute to an immersive artistic experience. The July 2nd, 2026 concert represents a continuation of utilizing this space for musical performance.
