Saffron Hall is a concert hall located within Saffron Walden County High School in Essex, England. Opened in 2013, it was designed by Cottrell & Vermeulen Architecture and quickly gained recognition for its exceptional acoustics – lauded as amongst the best in Europe. The hall was conceived with the intention of bringing world-class music to the local community and providing a performance space for students. Its design incorporates natural materials and features a striking timber frame construction. It hosts a diverse program encompassing classical music, jazz, chamber opera, and educational workshops. The hall's capacity is approximately 740 seats. It has become a significant cultural venue within the East of England region, attracting internationally renowned performers.
