Viive, a Finnish artist, will perform at G Livelab in Helsinki on September 4th, 2026. Her music blends elements of art pop, electronic music, and contemporary classical composition, often featuring layered vocals and atmospheric soundscapes. Viive’s work frequently explores themes of introspection and emotional vulnerability, drawing comparisons to artists like Björk and FKA twigs due to its experimental nature and sonic textures. She gained recognition following the release of her debut album in 2022 and has since toured extensively throughout Finland and Europe.

G Livelab is a unique venue in Helsinki known for its focus on high-quality audio experiences. Opened in 2018, it was co-founded by jazz musician Esa Kotilainen and sound engineer Kari Anttila. The space is specifically designed with acoustic principles in mind, utilizing a Genelec loudspeaker system tailored to the room's dimensions to provide consistent sound coverage throughout. It regularly hosts performances across genres – including jazz, folk, electronic, and classical – prioritizing intimate settings and showcasing both established and emerging artists. G Livelab also functions as a research platform for audio technology development in collaboration with the University of Helsinki.
