UpTempo is scheduled to perform at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia on April 8, 2027. The ensemble specializes in dynamic and innovative arrangements of classic jazz standards and original compositions, often incorporating elements of funk, Latin rhythms, and contemporary improvisation. They are known for their energetic stage presence and technically proficient musicianship.

The Woodruff Arts Center serves as the home of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Opera, and the Alliance Theatre. Opened in 1968 as the Memorial Arts Center, it was renamed in 1989 to honor Robert W. Woodruff, a prominent Atlanta business leader and philanthropist who significantly contributed to its development. The complex encompasses multiple performance spaces including the Symphony Hall – renowned for its acoustics – and the Coca-Cola Stage.

Beyond hosting performances, the Woodruff Arts Center is dedicated to arts education programs reaching a broad range of communities throughout metropolitan Atlanta.
