UpTempo is a contemporary a cappella group known for blending intricate vocal harmonies with diverse musical influences, spanning jazz, pop, and R&B. They frequently incorporate dynamic arrangements and percussive vocal techniques into their performances. The ensemble has gained recognition through competition successes and collaborative projects with other vocal artists.

The Woodruff Arts Center serves as a premier cultural hub in Atlanta, Georgia. Opened in 1968, it houses the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art under one complex. Originally conceived as a city-funded project to consolidate Atlanta’s performing arts organizations, the Center was named in honor of Robert W. Woodruff, former chairman of The Coca-Cola Company and a significant philanthropic figure in the city.

The venue itself features several performance spaces, including the Symphony Hall – where UpTempo is scheduled to perform – renowned for its acoustics and elegant design. Throughout its history, the Woodruff Arts Center has undergone expansions and renovations to enhance its facilities and accommodate a growing audience base while remaining committed to fostering arts education and community engagement within the metropolitan area.
