UpTempo is scheduled to perform at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia on January 21, 2027. The ensemble specializes in dynamic and innovative arrangements of classic jazz standards and original compositions, often incorporating elements of funk, R&B, and contemporary improvisation. Their performances are known for tight vocal harmonies and sophisticated instrumental work.

The Woodruff Arts Center serves as the home of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Opera, and the Alliance Theatre. Originally opened in 1968 as the Memorial Arts Center, it was renamed in 1989 to honor Robert W. Woodruff, a prominent Atlanta businessman and philanthropist whose significant contributions were instrumental in its founding and development.

The complex itself underwent a major renovation and expansion completed in 2018, enhancing its facilities for performance and education. It’s designed to be a multi-disciplinary cultural hub, fostering a wide range of artistic experiences for the community. The venue houses several performance spaces including the Symphony Hall and the Coca-Cola Stage which may be utilized for UpTempo’s concert depending on logistical requirements. The center aims to provide access to arts education programs alongside professional performances.
