UpTempo is a vocal ensemble specializing in a cappella arrangements of contemporary pop, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop music. The Woodruff Arts Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, serves as the home for the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art. Originally constructed in 1968 as the Memorial Arts Center in memory of Robert W. Woodruff – a prominent philanthropist and leader of The Coca-Cola Company – it was later renamed in his honor. The complex underwent significant renovations and expansions completed in 2008, enhancing its capabilities as a multi-disciplinary arts venue.

The Center’s architecture is notable for its modern design and commitment to providing state-of-the-art performance spaces. It aims to foster a vibrant cultural landscape within the city of Atlanta by presenting diverse artistic programming and educational initiatives.
