Trio Zadig is scheduled to perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on January 27, 2027. The ensemble, comprised of violinist Renaud Capuçon, cellist Gautier Capuçon, and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, is recognized for their interpretations of chamber music repertoire, blending technical precision with a lyrical and emotionally resonant style. Their performances often feature works spanning from the classical and romantic periods to contemporary compositions, characterized by a collaborative spirit and refined sound.

The Concertgebouw, opened in 1888, is renowned internationally for its exceptional acoustics and is considered one of the world’s leading concert halls. Designed by Pierre Cuypers, the building’s architecture reflects historical revival styles. Its rectangular auditorium shape, rather than a traditional horseshoe design, contributes significantly to its famed sound quality – achieved through specific dimensions and materials chosen during construction. Throughout its history, the Concertgebouw has been home to the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and has hosted performances by many of the world's most celebrated musicians and ensembles. It underwent a major renovation completed in 2023 which aimed to preserve its acoustic properties while updating facilities.
